The Beginners Guide to Meditation

I promise - it’s easier than you think.

Mediation is about focusing awareness. So for one moment come with me without anything else - No beliefs, expectations, pressure etc. Just you.

First off - Take a deep breath… then let it out.

Focus on the breath - Watch it come. Watch it go.

Do it again. Slow.

Notice how your brain doesn’t shut off - you’re still here.

Do it again.

There’s still a body and thoughts. That’t okay Just focus on your breath.

Do it again.

Thoughts or sensations may seem more intense. That’s okay just focus on the breath.

Do it again.

If we’ve forgotten what we were doing and are now thinking about tiktok. Thats’ okay, come back to the breath.

Do it again.

And again.

Again.

THAT’S ALL . Mindfulness is about focusing over and over on an intention. Meditation is making that intention stillness. You got this. Let the breath anchor you to the now.
